This is a story about that always-stressful first day at school, but in this case it is the Stuffed Toy School, where all the young fluffy critters learn to be great toys. Notice the toys seen dimly though the school windows. Petrith is excited to be joining the school but he has an embarassing physical difference the other students don’t understand. This makes for a difficult time for Petrith and the other toys until Petrith shows that being different isn’t bad or good, it’s just life.

The story is narrated by Pack, the bright green and highly emotional back pack that Petrith takes everywhere.
