An Effervescent, Bubbling
SIBA Conference in Savannah, October 2016
The Turnberry Press team spent the weekend in Savannah, GA working the 2016 edition of the Southern Indie Booksellers Association annual conference. It was a terrific event, well-attended, impeccably organized and absolutely worth the effort.
One of the greatest joys on an event of this sort is the chance to meet our favorite authors. Mary Kay Andrews (left) is a world-class writer with a pile of best-sellers to her credit; and she was very cordial and friendly with all the guests including Turnberry's own Judy Jones.
Essential to the success of SIBA event are all the volunteers and professional staff, who keep the unruly exhibitors and visitors on the straight and narrow. Here Ms. Jones hugs Summer, one of our favorites, who helped make the event such a success.

The event was in the two ballrooms of the Hilton Desoto, in Savannah. Both rooms were packed with exhibitors, visitors, consultants, industry experts and authors. A great place to meet-and-greet.
Turnberry Press education specialist Judy B. Jones (right) chats with bookseller Mary Prewitt of Foggy Pine Books, from Boone, NC. Turnberry Press is focused on helping our bookselling partners to be more profitable and more successful with customized marketing and support for each of their stores.
Every evening there was a terrific dinner event, with guest speakers and entertainment. The opportunities for networking were great and the Turnberry team made the most of them.
